FCC Set to Tackle ‘White Spaces,’ or ‘Wi-Fi on Steroids’ (PC Magazine)

 

PC Magazine – Almost two years after the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) approved a rule that gave conditional support to the production of “white spaces” devices, the agency is scheduled next week to formalize their use – a move that could drastically expand wireless Internet access in the U.S.
